Restaurants are noisy. Community halls feel like community halls. Backyards work until the weather doesn't. The Oaks at Kiser Lake is a private, all-yours-for-the-day party venue near Dayton and Springfield, Ohio, built for exactly these gatherings.

You're renting a lodge on 117 acres in Saint Paris, Ohio, about 25 minutes from Springfield, 45 minutes from Dayton, and an hour from Columbus. The Lodge is climate-controlled, has a full commercial kitchen, and comfortably seats groups from about 15 up to 150. The grounds handle overflow beautifully: pine groves, three ponds, apple orchards, and a pair of Highland cows named Ash and Coco who have posed in more baby-shower photos than any human on staff.

What You Get When You Book

Capacity from about 15 to 150 guests. The Lodge scales; ask us and we'll walk you through what your headcount will feel like inside.
Flexible catering. No required caterer, no forced menu. Bring in your favorite local restaurant, have family cook in the commercial kitchen, or order in — your call.
Weekday, Friday, and Sunday availability. Because Saturdays fill first with weddings, showers and parties often lock in shorter-lead dates on any other day of the week.
The full property. Use the Lodge, the pond decks, the pine grove, and the meadows. Highland cow photo ops are complimentary — Ash and Coco don't charge appearance fees.
Setup that isn't stressful. Tables, chairs, linens, and a decor closet full of vintage props, arches, whiskey barrels, and lanterns come with the space.
Parking, climate control, restrooms, WiFi. The stuff that shouldn't be exciting, but ruins events when it's missing.

Pricing Guidance

Private events price by day, headcount, and how much of the property you want. Because we don't run rigid packages for showers and parties, we scope every event to what you're actually planning — a 4-hour Sunday baby shower for 30 costs very differently from a 6-hour Saturday 90th birthday for 120.
